TRAC Support Unit – The TRAC Development Group (TDG) has recently appointed KPMG to provide the Support Unit function for TRAC, taking over from JM Consulting and Funding Councils. This change was effective from 19 April 2010. Further details on the TRAC Helpdesk are available.
A new process has been formulated for reviewing issues which are brought to the attention of the Group regarding the TRAC guidance. All interested parties are invited to submit issues and feedback for consideration as part of this new process. The process will take the form of a small team of technical advisers from throughout the sector, who will be asked to consider issues and advise on proposed changes to the Guidance. Details of how to submit these issues and feedback can be found at BUFDG Technical Group Information and Guidelines, along with guidance on deadlines for submissions.

The final report on the quality assurance of implementation of TRAC by HEIs was published in August 2005. A summary of the findings was provided in HEFCE circular letter 24/2005 . The full report is available for download from the HEFCE web-site.
A note from the help desk pending release of the Consolidated Manual, was issued to TRAC Project Managers in May 2005, along with two attachments: model case study additional information and case study answer.
