TRAC Helpdesk

The TRAC Development Group (TDG) has recently appointed KPMG to provide the Support Unit function for TRAC, taking over from JM Consulting and Funding Councils. This change was effective from 19th April 2010.

The Support Unit will replicate the roles performed by JM Consulting and the Funding Councils to date. The Support Unit's principle responsibilities will include:

  • Provision of the TRAC Helpdesk (covering all aspects of the TRAC guidance, annual TRAC, TRAC(T) and TRAC EC-FP7);
  • Policy research and support to the Financial Sustainability Strategy Group and the TRAC Development Group; TRAC Guidance research and development;
  • Communication with the sector on TRAC;
  • Support for the TRAC Self Help groups; and
  • Promulgation of TRAC amongst the sectors' stakeholders.

Stephen Clark and Andrew Bush from KPMG have worked across the sector and with the Funding and Research Councils for a number of years on a variety of TRAC matters. Stephen and Andrew will lead the support function for KPMG, supported by a small dedicated team.
